COURT CALENDAR.

The summaries have been prepared by Suffolk University Law School. The summaries are not an official part of the court proceedings, and are presented so that those who access the website will have a general understanding of the legal issues in the cases set for oral argument.

Oral arguments generally take one half hour per case (15 minutes per side), except in first degree murder cases, which generally take 40 minutes (20 minutes per side). The Justices may take a brief recess mid-morning, lasting approximately 10 minutes.
