About the Cover: Fall '13

At Suffolk Magazine, one of our favorite illustrators is the German artist Christoph Niemann whose books have delighted children and adults alike, and whose work frequently appears in such publications as The New Yorker and The New York Times. Niemann’s skill as a storyteller made him a natural to come up with a conceptual illustration for our themed issue on homecoming. The witty metaphor he created for that theme graces the cover for this edition.
